MarieLouisStGaudinsFiataroneMarie Louise, a Phi Beta Kappa Graduate of U.C. Berkeley, is a performer, teacher, arranger, and composer whose composition ‘Make My World beautiful’ has been published by Columbia-Warner Bros. in their book “The Wedding Present”. Her performances range from a debut recital at the age of seven with members of the San Francisco Symphony, through engagements as intermission pianist for George Shearing, Errol Garner, Dave Brubeck, and Oscar Peterson, to a recent guest soloist appearance with the San Francisco Concerto Orchestra in the Shostakovitch 2nd Piano Concerto. As a winner in both the Classical and Jazz divisions of the 1999 Steinway-Boston National Competition, she has been acclaimed by the Daily Californian as “one of the most versatile musicians on the West Coast”. She was the vocal coach for eight years for Billie Joe of Green Day. She has also coached Kristy Cates who is now appearing on Broadway in ‘Wicked’, and 2 current local ‘American Idol’ finalists.
