Per-­service AFM contract applies with annual services ranging from 50-80 services. If an advertised position is won by a current member of the orchestra the vacated position will be become the open chair. The winning candidate will begin their service with the orchestra in March of 2018 or at a mutually agreed upon time. Mill Valley Philharmonic (MVP), Marin County’s first and foremost community orchestra, is excited to announce the search for Artistic Director/Conductor and Executive Director for its 19th season. Founder and director Laurie Cohen will step down from the podium at the end in May 2018 at the end of MVP’s 18th season. Her planned retirement was announced in the spring of 2017.
