New Blue Balkan Ensemble, featuring Eric Golub – violin, Tommy Kesecker – marimba, Noel Jewkes – reeds & Vince Delgado – dumbek. Since the original recording, the New Blue Balkan Ensemble’s format has become even more adventurous featuring modern arrangements of ethnojazz and a free musical style. The addition of Noel Jewkes on soprano sax and tenor enhances the Balkan flavor and evokes spirit of John Coltrane.
The Young At Heart Ensemble, featuring Noel Jewkes, Josh Workman, & Harold Jones. The group features authentic striaght ahead swinging bebop saluting Lester Young, Charlie Parker, and Count Basie. Newly added modern material includes the music of John Coltrane, James Moody and Afro-Cuban bebop.
La Orquesta El Vuko
