Anna Maria Mendieta, harpist, enjoys a busy career as a soloist, orchestral musician, recording artist and teacher. In recognition of her Spanish heritage, she has been invited to perform for the King and Queen of Spain and for concerts for National Hispanic Week in Washington, D.C. In a career that has earned her prestigious awards and performances with top name recording artists, Ms. Mendieta has also been invited to perform for dignitaries and heads of state. Ms. Mendieta has appeared on television, in motion pictures and featured on national radio.

Anna Maria Mendieta is available to perform as a soloist or with orchestras and ensembles. Concerts can be produced on a large scale with lighting and effects or simplified to meet the demands of the venue. Dynamic combinations can be orchestrated to include an ensemble of strings, woodwinds, and percussion. A duo of harp and flute or violin can be appealing for more intimate recitals. A harp, viola, and cello trio is also available, specializing in the music of Debussy and Ravel. To add variety, Anna Maria also performs with a vocalist upon request. Spanish and Argentine Tango music concerts can incorpoate a dazzling collaboration of tango dancers or dancers from Theater Flamenco. Christmas programs sparkle with chimes, candles and poetry and are a popular favorite with audiences of all ages.
